Our Story

L'Objet Bleu was conceived with the vision of replacing the ordinary with the extraordinary. We are purveyors of fine antiques and home decor.

Our heritage spans a long line of antique dealers, collectors, architects, and interior designers, and we have always had the privilege of being surrounded with objects of distinction. We want to share our extensive design knowledge and resources with our clientele by offering rare, curated pieces, replacing the ordinary with the extraordinary. 

We emerged in the design world with a showroom in Richmond, which has since been closed to the public as an ‘appointment-only’ studio. We have since expanded, adding L'Objet Bleu to our brand portfolio, offering our luxury selections in a curated, personal fashion through 1stdibs and our interior design services, A.R.D. (Adam Rice Designs). 

L'Objet Bleu pieces have been found in the most beautiful homes in Richmond, Washington, New York, Atlanta, Charleston, Houston, Palm Beach, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Paris, and London, as well as international luxury home decor magazines.
